A Day to Relax and Back to Halifax

We spent yesterday around Thousand Trails. Sarah and Matt lounged by the pool for most of the day, catching some sun before leaving for home today. They tried pickleball but didn't seem to be too interested in the game. It isn't an easy game to master and plenty of hand/eye coordination is required.

Last night it rained very hard for more than two hours. Areas around received more than 3" of rain. It made for plenty of noise on the roof of our motorhome last night. Thankfully there was just rain with no thunder and lightning.

We were up early this morning. Kids were all packed and raring to get back to the -20C temps they saw on CTV this morning. Not!! We drove them out to the airport and said goodbye at the terminal. They had no trouble checking in and getting through security.

Chris and I grabbed a coffee on the way back to TT and then spent a few hours doing laundry before playing pickleball again. Games were quite good today. Some of the players left for Peace River today. We hope to see them again in a few weeks when we go back down there again.

We have the motorhome to ourselves again. It seems strangely quiet now. I wonder why?? We enjoyed the visit but it is nice to have things back to normal again.
