I have been looking for a long zoom lens for my new camera for over a month and had posted a notice on Kijiji Ottawa in an effort to find a good used lens. New ones are quite expensive. I had almost given up acquiring a used lens as a lost cause. Anyway, last night a local seller contacted me with one he wanted to sell. We made the sale today and I just had to try it our on the way home this afternoon as we passed by the Ottawa airport. I caught this passenger jet on final approach and thought it turned out quite well.Motorhome was still in at Freightliner in east Ottawa at 4 pm this afternoon, so we decided to leave it there overnight and pick it up tomorrow morning instead.
We both enjoyed a fabulous run along the Ottawa river this morning. Nice crisp morning and a clear blue sky. Doesn't get any better than that. Things look to be sunny and warm for the rest of the week.
