Most all adjustments have now been completed. The new storage tray is in, Tyron anti blow rings have been installed on the front axle and nitrogen fill in all the tires. I worked until almost 9 pm last night, moving the rest of our "stuff" from the Bounder storage bays into the Phaeton. I got it all in....just! Then this morning, I found a small bay I had forgotten to empty on the Bounder. Good thing I double checked as it had both wheels for our tandem bicycle in it. Hard to ride a bike with no wheels. Duh! We will definitely be culling some none essential things before leaving here and then also putting some stuff in storage before we head for Alaska on June 13th. Chris arrives in Tampa this afternoon, so I expect she will be putting her superior organization skills to use almost immediately.
Thought you might like to read a blog by a couple we know who are presently on their way to Alaska. In fact, they should be crossing into Alberta from Montana today if the weather holds. We met Greg and Marilyn Gundy in Peace River last year. Hope you enjoy the read.
