Odd Job Day

I spent the morning installing two MaxAir Fan Mates on the roof of our Bounder. We bought them at the Tampa RV Show. They are designed to fit over the two existing MaxAir roof vents and allow the vents to be open when it is raining or when we are driving. This allows for better air exchange in the motorhome. Installation was pretty simple, just drilling a few holes and attaching them as per the instruction sheet.

I borrowed a drill and a few bits from Dave, who is from Virginia. He built our PVC pipe, drying rack that hangs off our ladder and also our PVC flag pole. We see many Stars and Stripes flags proudly displayed by campers around the campgrounds we have stayed so far. We thought a smaller Canadian flag would be fine to display in front of our campsite. The Vue is a little dirty but I saw our Maple Leaf's reflection and couldn't resist snapping a picture.
The roof installations took the longest. Chris had to help me up the ladder because we had left the extension at home, thinking we would not need it, and because storage was at a premium. It was a bit of a big step up to the ladder on the back but I made it alright.
Tomorrow's tasks.....wash Vue and Bounder.
