We managed to get a few night time pictures of some of the hot air ballons in Gatineau this evening. We set the camera and tripod up on the Ottawa side of the river which overlooks the balloon staging site. I played around with the exposure and found that an 8-10 second exposure generally resulted in a good photograph. I also rotated the zoom while the shutter was open, giving the resulting streaks of light you see in some of the pictures.
